Can you send Library resources to my home address?

Answer

If you cannot easily access our Libraries we offer a free of charge postal loans service. We can post out four books at a time using recorded delivery, and when you return them you will need to use recorded delivery too.

1) Find the items you need using Library Search.

2) Select the item (using the link in the highlighted title).

3) Select Request (you will need to be signed in to your Library Account to be given this option).

4) From the Pickup Location menu, scroll to Personal Delivery and select Home Address).

You can borrow these items initially for four weeks, but if the item is in demand this will be reduced to two weeks. Items will then automatically renew unless requested by another user.

If there is an electronic version available for the book you requested, we will email you the details and provide a link to access the e-book instead of posting the printed version.

We aim to deal with requests promptly and most requests are satisfied within seven days. However please bear in mind that items currently on loan can take longer to arrive and we do rely on postal services for this.
