Q. Can I use the library if my lectures are taking place online?

Answer

You are able to use the library if you do not have access to appropriate study spaces or facilities in your usual accommodation - this is classed as essential use and is permitted under government guidelines.

You are also allowed to visit the library if you need to access a book that is not available online, we recommend using our Click and Collect service to reserve your books for collection.

You will need to follow the guidelines to access the library:

  • Obtain a clear COVID test before visiting the library
  • Have your student card with you to access the building
  • Library use is for Individual, socially distanced study only
  • Face coverings should be worn at all times including whilst studying and using the click and collect service.

For further details, please refer to Staffordshire University’s national lockdown guidance for students.
