Q. What accessibility support is available from the Library?

Answer

All our Libraries are fully accessible to you whatever your needs. More information on how to access each of the libraries is available on the University website.

In collaboration with Staffordshire University’s Student Enabling Centre, the Library has produced an Accessible Guide to the Thompson Library. The guide has been written for anyone who may feel daunted or anxious about coming into the library. It also highlights aspects of the buildings that may be challenging for students on the autistic spectrum.

As well as print books and journals we have very extensive electronic resources that can be accessed on and off campus and which you can normally adjust to make them more accessible to your needs - such as changing font size, colour or have the text read aloud.

See the page on Accessing Library Resources for more details.
