Have you got any proof reading tips as I find it hard to spot my own mistakes?

Answer

Proof reading is a far more complex task than just checking for spelling and punctuation errors.  It involves checking for meaning and, importantly, knowledge and understanding, making sure that you directly answer the question or problem set in line with your marking criteria.

There are many different ways of achieving this, including:- reading aloud yourself, using built in tools within software to convert text to speech and peer review options.
