Where can I get help with referencing?

Answer

Referencing is a system used in the academic community to indicate where ideas, theories, quotes, facts and any other evidence you have used to support your assignments can be found. When you are writing a piece of work and use someone else's words or ideas you must reference them.

Cite Them Right Online (CTRO) is a comprehensive referencing resource that will help you to cite and reference just about any source you have used in your assignment. The Cite Them Right version of Harvard is the official style adopted by Staffordshire University.

You will find everything you need to know about referencing on our RefZone pages, you may also find our copyright guidance useful.

Stuck with your referencing? Book a Just Referencing appointment and one of our team will help you get to grips with whichever style of referencing you need.
